Bright Lights Meeting on 25 February 2008

Last Monday at Bright Lights we learnt about Developing a Disciplined Walk With God.

-Being disciplined is not a punishment, it is like a healthy habit - we do it because not only we have to, we want to be disciplined in God's eyes. (Proverbs 1:7-9)
-If we discipline ourselves in reading the Bible, praying and memorizing Bible verses we will have a closer relationship with God. (Colossians 3:16)
-If we have a close relationship with God, we will be blessed. (Joshua 1:8)

And, we celebrated Suyin's 15th birthday too! Her birthday is actually on the 26th of February:) We love you lots, Suyin! Continue to walk closely with God and radiate his love! You're such a sweet girl!

The lovely cake is baked by the Fong family. It's very delicious!

We did a fun activity - making magnets out of Plaster of Paris and painting them (it was planned by Priscilla)! We all had a good time.
