Be Thou an Example - 1 Tim 4:12 [Free Desktop Wallpaper]

It's been a long time since I last designed a desktop wallpaper! Looking back at my last post in December 2011 makes me cringe a little. Don't quite like how that looks!

Oh, talking about designing, I started a new blog to post all my designing endeavours! Hopefully I'll be posting more desktop wallpapers over there!

Anyways, this is one of my favourite verses and one that Bright Lights is very much based on! Enjoy as you meditate on this!

Love, Joy, Peace Christmas Tag

In remembrance of the love, joy and peace that was brought into our world some 2000 years ago by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed Christmas everyone!

Here's an idea this Christmas...bake some cookies (I used this eggless recipe and added crushed candy canes), add the tag given here and spread the reason for the season to all those around you! You could even add a little gospel message to the back of the tag!

A Polka-Dotted Thank You Card

When I think of appreciation, this story always comes into mind. As one writer concluded, "If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?" 

More recently, there was this other true story that made a similar point. The value of the painting was based on how much it was appreciated - to art collectors, six figure sums, to others, $60.

If we would only take the time to think about it, it would be easy to come up with a long list of people we need to thank but haven't. Let me make this easy for you...download the file below, put some white card stock into your printer, print it out and cut it into half. Fold it and there is your card! Now, you can spend all the time you saved making the card on writing a heartfelt note! Have fun!

Great is Thy Faithfulness [Free Desktop Wallpaper]

I designed this recently and have it as my desktop wallpaper right now. It's great to have truth displayed in front of us so that we can meditate on it!
