Scavenger Hunt pictures

YAY! I'm so happy because now I can put pictures into our blog!! :D
So there you go: pictures from our scavenger hunt, courtesy of Joanna! :)

These envelopes contained very important information: our clues, our map, and so forth.

I think this sculpture is of Chopin :) It's by the Shaw Foundation stage :)

As you may notice, they are all of Joanna's team! haha but that is because I didn't have any on my camera and I wasn't able to get any from my team. :(
Can't wait for the next outing!! :))

Scavenger Hunt

We recently had a very interesting scavenger hunt at the Botanic Gardens!
Though it began to rain, we still had fun!
One of the teams that competed (there were a total of two) made some mistakes as to where the end point was, and that team ended up on the other end of the Botanic Gardens, most unfortunately! They made it in the end, but after a lot of walking. (Names are not mentioned to protect the guilty.)
Pictures coming soon; I'm having trouble with blogger here cos they won't let me upload pictures!! So sorry for delay :( As soon as blogger works again with uploading photos, I'll also put some up here from our lastest meetings. :) Do check back soon!
Till then, God bless y'all! :)

Christmas Fishing! (Jolynn's team)

The name Christmas Fishing sounds intresting! And yes it is!
Both the teams had lots of fun around the condo handling out tracts, caroling and much more!
We thank God for stoping the rain and giving us all boldness in our speaking and our presentations:)

Here are the pictures of Jolynn's team!

Team members: Danielle, hannah, Amanda, Petra, Faith, Elizabeth, and Priscilla.

Discussion time!

Rush! Rush! Rush!

Great planning brings great success!

Thank God once again for giving us a GREAT time showing others God's love:)

God bless you! And thank you for reading.

Christmas Fishing! (Evan's team)

I thought both teams did a great job with our Christmas Fishing activity last Bright Lights meeting. Hope you all had as much fun as I did :) I'm posting Evan's group's pictures and videos in this post and Phoebe will be posting the pictures from my team in another post.

For those of you who were't there, here's what the girls had to collect as part of our Christmas fishing activity:

A video of:
team giving out 50 tracts to adults
team singing 3 carols in 2 different places
team explaining the candy cane story to 20 children
2 different team members taking a Christmas Survey

A photo of:
a Christmas tree
someone kissing a star
something red
something white

Note: neither team was able to complete all the tasks due to the incessant rain which kept the residents of the condo indoor. Thankfully, the rain stopped just before we started our activity but still, there were few people around to witness to.

Girl's in Evan's group: Joy, Carmen, Danielle, Phoebe, Sarah and Grace

Joy kissing a "star"

I don't know who's idea this was but it sure is creative!

A christmas stocking

Evan's group singing silent night in Chinese to a man -- umm, I think this was the man they complained about who kept smoking while they sang ;)

Evan sharing the candy cane legend with some little girls they found at the playground. We must have given these poor girls a fright! Both teams spotted them at the same time and rushed to reach them...*sigh* Evan's team ran faster...

They had more videos but I won't be posting all of them here as it will take too long. Great work everyone! Thanks for being so game in completing the tasks I gave you ;)
